Using free programs for topology optimization on selected problems in solid mechanics
Flídr, Ondřej ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis examines open-source software for topology optimization, analyzes their possibilities on selected problems of solid mechanics and verifies the results by the finite element method. The theoretical part describes the principles and methods by which the tasks of topology optimization can be solved. This is followed by search for open-source software using these methods. The calculation process in selected software is described in detail in solving sample tasks in the penultimate part. In the last chapter, the best open-source software are compared with each other and also with commercially distributed Ansys Workbench 19.2. The output is an evaluation of the usability of individual open-source software in industry. This thesis can also serve as a manual for using selected programs for inexperienced users.
Security Analysis of Home IoT Network
Čikel, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Kamil (referee) ; Pluskal, Jan (advisor)
This work focuses on the issue of the  security in home IoT network. Specifically, it focuses on the security issues of commercial IoT devices and their automation systems. In the work itself, it was firstly analyzed and identified specific threats specific for our network. To address these threats, the original automation systems and firmware on the devices were replaced by open-source implementations that were configured to address discovered threats. Although, there are still several security issues in a network with an open-source implementation, a large part of the security issues which were discovered has been eliminated.  The results of this work allows to configure a home IoT network using an opens-source automation system and firmware and proves that such a network is more secure than the network where the original factory-supplied automation systems and firmware on devices are used.
Analysis of Wi-Fi traffic
Bakó, Zdeněk ; Pospíšil, Ondřej (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the capture and analysis of wireless traffic of Wi-Fi networks. The aim of this work is to describe the possibilities of capturing and analyzing the operation of Wi-Fi networks. It describes the IEEE 802.11 standard, its features such as architecture and current standards. A selection of a suitable router is performed on which traffic capture and analysis is performed. Some open-source firmware for routers is compared and the most suitable one is selected. Tools for capturing and analyzing Wi-Fi network traffic are compared and described. The differences between the promiscuous and monitoring capture mode and their possibilities of use are described. Finally, there are described options for analyzing captured 802.11 frames.
Analysis of escape routes in 3D building model
Marešová, Kristýna ; Bartoněk, Dalibor (referee) ; Černý, Martin (advisor)
The primary object of the master thesis is creating escape route analysis in 3D model of a building. Analysis is created using mainly open source tools like PostgreSQL with PostGIS and pgRouting extensions.
Using Calculix computing environment to solve problems of solid mechanics
Lukáš, Jan ; Lošák, Petr (referee) ; Vosynek, Petr (advisor)
Submitted bachelor thesis is focused on a solution of solid mechanics problems in a computing environment of the Calculix program. In the opening of the thesis there are briefly described theoretical foundations of finite element method. Subsequently there are analyzed particular parts of the program environment of Calculix. The main part of the thesis deals with solutions of three selected problems of solid mechanics. There are three different types of analyzes: static structural, modal dynamic and explicit dynamic. In the first assignment there is discovered deformation and stress in a fixed compressed squared timber. The second assignment deals with modal properties of the fixed squared timber. The last assignment discovers effect of loading velocity on the deformation of fixed compressed squared timber. In the conclusion there are briefly evaluated advantages and disadvantages of the Calculix program and there are compared solutions of the Calculix program and commercial program.
A Tool for Evaluation of Quality of Contribution to Open-Source Projects
Špigel, Radim ; Müller, Petr (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this work is an examination of contributions quality in development of open-source projects written in programming language Pytho. Detection of this quality is being probed by static analysis tools and hypotethical algorithm which is based on duration of curent contribution changlessness. In this work there is a basic description of revision control systems and distributed system Git. There is also a mention about basic software metrics and D3 library.
The Concept of Computer Laboratory for Non-profit Sector.
Fáborský, Jindřich ; Vinter, Miloslav (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the project of computer laboratory for the Institution of Social Care for Disabled Youth - Kociánka realized with minimum costs of production. Using the computer network with thin clients and the operating system GNU/Linux serves for minimizing the costs. The thesis includes not only explanations of principles of technology, but also an implementation procedure for this project.
Portability of Distributed Computing in Cloud Infrastructures
Duong, Cuong Tuan ; Ondrák, Viktor (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis focuses on analysis of solution to distributed computing of metage-nomics data in cloud infrastructures. It describes specific META-pipe platform based onclient-server architecture in infrastructure of public academic cloud EGI Federated Cloud, sponsored by european project ELIXIR-EXCELERATE. Thesis is focusing especially onopen-source software like Terraform and Ansible.
Open-source E-shop Solution of Cajove polstare.cz
Bondy, Radim ; Krajča, Pavel (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis I implement an electronic shop solution according to the required specifics using one of the open-source software options. The realisation consists primarily of a detailed analysis of the individual open-source solutions and the actual implementation of the select solution.
Design of E-commerce for Artists and Architects
Hložanka, Jan ; Weirich, Pavel (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and design of e-commerce, which should serve young artists and architects. Closer compares and analyzes the various e-commerce solutions. Using open-source solution shows, how to design a basic visual template of e-commerce and the basics of how to utilize a web search engine optimization, web advertising and web analytics.
